Oil Extraction from Various Oilseeds

Afra Oil extracts oil from high-quality oilseeds such as soybeans and canola within Afra’s integrated food value chain holding. The extraction process yields crude edible oil and oilcake as by-products.
These products are used internally by other subsidiaries of Afra Holding or sold to partner companies outside the holding. Future plans include producing edible and industrial fatty acids and lecithins.

Utilizing advanced technology, Afra Oil can convert palm oil into various fractions (olein, stearin, hard stearin, DF, etc.), which are widely used in oleochemical industries. This fractionation capability is a key strength of Afra Oil.

Production of Various Edible Oils

The crude oil obtained, along with other imported crude oils or fractionated palm oils, undergoes various refining processes (including neutralization, bleaching, deodorization, etc.) under strict national standards and quality control to produce edible oil suitable for consumption. This edible oil is then converted into bulk or packaged forms in various sizes such as cans, bottles, etc., to be supplied to domestic and international markets for household (B2C) and industrial (B2B) consumption. Additionally, production can be customized for partner companies outside the holding company.

Other subsidiary companies of Afra Oil, including Navid Khalije Fars, Golbahar Jadde Abreshim, Pakdideh, and Nasim Mehr, collectively produce 1600 tons of various edible oils, contributing significantly to the company’s overall performance.
